Ohio’s Top Junior – Elijah Macon

Elijah is a 6’9 forward from the class of 2012. Ohio’s top junior is also a top 50 prospect in the country. Macon is having a terrific junior season as his production on the boards and his overall scoring are both up from last year. Elijah plays for Marion-Franklin High School during the season and All-Ohio Red in the summer.

Trey Warr shows his hops against Pickerington North

Gahanna Lincoln’s Trey Warr throws down a two hand oop at home against Pickerington North. Trey is at the top of the list of players with the most bounce in the OCC. Look for more of Trey’s highlights coming soon.

Nate Spears throws down against Eastmoor

Nate Spears shows his athleticism on this put back dunk. One of the most athletic players in Columbus, Spears can finish with the best of them. Last week he almost dunked his own missed free throw. Make sure to check Spears and his Marion-Franklin teammates out if you’re in the Columbus area.

Trey Burke started his season off with a buzzer beater at the All-Ohio Slam-N-Jam at Ohio Dominican. Burke’s shot pushed Northland past Cincinnati Withrow and Aaron Thomas. After the graduation of Jared Sullinger and JD Weatherspoon, Burke will need to continue this type of play to keep Northland on the national scene.
